I also didn't know how to be an Admin, but I was willing to learn, but I also never felt it was my board to make major changes. So, I was there and at first I made a few mistakes but started to get the hang of the basic stuff, till it became apparent that Hyp was a complete and utter Troll.

So, I sent a private email to Baron which Hyp proceeded to open without Baron's or my permission. This is what caused me to go off on the bitch and tell her to shove her staff position up her ass.

I know now that I should have demoted her before she demoted me, which I probably asked for. But I was unwilling to do it without the boards owner knowing, as it wasn't my board. This is why I sent the email to Baron in the first place. I asked him to give the board to either Freak or I....and at one point in the past, I remember he did offer the board to other people. The board needed someone with ownership to take control. If I had wanted it for myself, I wouldn't have included Freak in the request. It wasn't about me, it was about the board.

That series of PMs to Worm is hilarious! She's completely demented. I'm surprised (actually, no I'm not) that she mentioned the link I did which she took down as it breached THE RULES. I told her at the time that she had just deleted a link to a UK TV station with an advert for a TV show called How To Look Good Naked (a health and fitness programme). She thought the content was inappropriate nd refused to even consider that she was wrong. Just shows what an ignorant dimwit she is.

You mean the Rules that I let Baron copy from Haven verbatim to use on ‘Keen? I would have left the link alone with no trouble. I believe she was just trying to find another reason to abuse her authority.

This whole thing is just a mess. I feel sorry for Baron, a young guy being thrust into all the trouble that’s been going on. I’ve tried to email him, but I never get a response. I’d really like to help him straighten everything out, but I can’t help thinking he just wants to not deal with it do to the fact that he is young, and the people involved in this terrible situation are all older adults. Poor kid.

It’s a hard thing for a teen to try and settle bad behavior in adults that are supposed to know better. It could be a learning experience for him, but by avoiding the whole thing, I’m afraid that is the wrong lesson to learn.

Nothing against Baron but I think having a minor as owner, who was almost never reachable, was a little bit of the problem.

You need an owner that is active enough to make the tough decisions as soon as they arise.

By "the rules" I think Chanilover was referring to the InvisionFree rules for free boards, which got invoked a lot as justification, as I recall.

I think Freak meant "tough and sensible."

Well, being that is was a free forum we were bound to invisionfree's rules, which was a problem, we didn't have the freedom to say what we want as we do here.

As far as making decisions goes, right or wrong, sometimes you need a decision quickly.

What did FH say the difference between a good leader and a bad leader was? About five heartbeats? A bad leader stalls and asks for commitees. A good leader makes the decision and then makes corrections based on the consequences.
