Terry in New York - just read Chapterhouse: Dune

Hi all,

My name is Terry. I'm a 49-year-old woman in New York and I'm thrilled to have found this discussion group.

I read the original Dune in my twenties and loved it; subsequently I read the novel in which Alia becomes a despot and Muad'Dib's kids are hunted by tigers and finally the boy becomes one with the worm by attaching himself to the precursors of the worm. Is that right?

Anyway, I just finished "Chapterhouse: Dune" and I'm very eager to discuss it with others, so here I am.

So...OK. Not being sure how this works, I'll look in the topics to see if there is an appropriate discussion for me, else I'll return here.

Please write me; I'm super-eager to wrap my mind around Chapterhouse.

Best,
Terry

Hello, hope you have lots of fun around here. If you look around the forums you'll find lots and lots of old discussions - feel free to post in old threads if you have questions or comments about anything at all. We have people here of every level of Dune knowledge, from people who're just starting to think about Dune right through to people who could teach classes on the subject.

Welcome! You had me at "woman."

Ask any question or revive any old thread you want, anything asked about Dune is welcome here. And you won't be criticized for not knowing obvious stuff or asking something silly. If I haven't been, you won't!
