Can I get a name other than hyppo? It brings up 30 pages where the name is mentioned but I cant figure out who/what is being refereed to...besides its old, fat and mean.

    Sig worthy.

Edit: You can check out Chig's blog from January 2008 if you want to see her in action (and us for that matter, don't get on our bad side).

    Appears so.

People are almost never banned here, but when they are, it's total. None of that pussy-ass shit like Byron Merritt does over on Dune Novels, changing someone's password so they can't log in again but leaving it looking like they haven't been banned. ("Freakbanning", as we call it here, since Freak was the first one The Almighty Pussy did it to.)
I have heard of only one mistake that doesn’t have an explanation for a careful reader...with an open mind. (And, no, I’m not going to tell you what it is!) —KJA

I don't like every writer's style; for instance, I have never been able to get through Ursula LeGuin, China Mieville, or Iain Banks, all of whom are critical darlings. —KJA

I...had written a bunch of Star Wars and X-Files books...that proved not just that I'm a hack, but that I could write in somebody else's universe... —KJA

Not entirely true. I Freakbanned that racist fuckbag from T-Dot. The samurai guy. Did it to fuck with him, so I could continue to ride his ass as he came back with sockpuppets.

I'm starting to understand why you guys have such a negative attitude towards Hypatia. I missed all that history at DN and Arrakeen (having joined here a few months after that blog entry), and I think I'm glad I did.

I'm still very proud of The Quarry but … let's face it; in the end the real best way to sign off would have been with a great big rollicking Culture novel.

Yeah, actually, I would have to agree with that.
