So now I've finished Hunters and I'm going to start Sandworms tomorrow. Eek.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously man, it was all fun and games poking holes in KJABH's writing for me until that book. Never before have I regretted reading a book like that one, I re-read Dune afterwards and couldn't even enjoy it because I kept thinking about things from the new books. It took away my enjoyment of the original. I have no idea how long that's going to last, but I am NOT happy about it.

I know curiosity is why you're doing it, and this is probably just making you more curious, but you will regret it.

Don't do it. So not worth it. There are no "notes" or "disks" or whatever from FH; that's a complete myth. Sandworms is just KJA and The Other Guy pulling stuff out of their asses and selling it to the preeks. It's shameful that perfectly good lumber was felled to print it.

Hunters sucked total ass. Sandworms was orders of magnitude worse. Good luck, and please, please come here and purge as you read. You cant survive that kind of fecal build-up in your brain.

BEWARE!

Reading Sadworms will suck the light from your universe. After you have read it, food will never again taste as good, sex will loose its edge, your sleep will ever more be fitful and shallow at best.

DON'T DO IT!!!

Nah, go ahead and get it over with. Misery loves company!

I just read the wiki synopsis and pound my brain against something hard. That removes any desire to read the actual 'book' called Sandworms.

CL, I highly advise against it, but if you must take the plunge, prior to cracking the lid do the following:

1. Drink two fifths of Jim Beam
2. Wrap your head in aluminum Foil
3. Put on your Night Vision Goggles
4. Get near a fireplace and Start up a good roaring Blaze.

After your setup... you can read one chapter at a time, with a hour break inbetween. This hour will be listening to the Audio version of GEoD.

These precautions should protect you from the evil manure that pours from that abominative Tome!!!!
