That's just silly. They're the same people! Didn't you read Hunters of Dune: Part One of the Epic Finale to Dune!

No, and I will never read it. For me, the House series it's enough.

Do you think at some point they will go back and add an interquel between Sandworms and Hunters?

After this series I can't imagine what they could possibly come up with next. We've got Paul-the unimportant details of the Jihad, that's a reasonable book from their point of view I guess (interesting anyway) Jessica - what is that going to be? a romance novel for the elderly? Irulan - I can't think at all why they'd do this one, except that they can have her say something about lying as to Paul's place of birth... and then the Big one - LetoII.

I'd almost say I'm sure there's nothing left for them to exploit after that, but if they can make an entire novel about jessica, and another about irulan... I don't want to underestimate their powers of drawing things out.

Seriously, don't forget that they still have the post-pre-prequel time period to exploi...er, explore. TEN THOUSAND YEARS LYING SPREAD OPEN AND WAITING LIKE A BEARDED PEACHFISH ON THE HALF-SHELL! Ooooh, YUMMY. How could they resist?

Dune: Mentats and Swordmasters
Dune: Annals of the Spacing Guild

Can I have a say which of the above they do. That said I'm off to read a Thundercats script, it can only be better than the forthcoming PoD.

Snarf!!

I actually expect them to publish a number of Duncan novels placed during the reign of Leto II.

I am sure they will be able to fill a trilogy about the lurking ultimate KH in him and the angst of the inner voices of his massacred fore bearers by Leto.

Did I say trilogy? Oops ... I mean Octology of course.

Everyone's forgetting that there are thousands of years of stories left between the Butlerian Jihad and House Atreides. Also, we need a book to tell us that the Scattering really wasn't all that large and most of the scatterers died leaving humanity vulnerable to a robotic invasion.

Englobements of Dune: The Reckoning. The first book in a shared universe (but shared only between BH & KJA), that is sure to last for decades.

And that there really is just one galaxy in the universe, the rest are optical illusions.

The Thousand Lives(and Novels) of Duncan.

Don't forget about Duncan and Siona's children, Margot Fenring and Feyd's daughter, and of course Hara of Dune.
In memory of Perach, who suffered and died needlessly.

I wish I could have been with you that one last time.

Is that the right title for the Duncan book they mention in the Grunters and Sadworms epigraphs? There's definitely something like that in there.

So yeah, I expect someone to at least make a stab at a Duncan series. (What was it the other day, a decalogy?)

Palimbasha of Dune
Korba of Dune

Oh, BTW, Harrah is spelled two different ways so the can write:

Harah of Dune
AND
Harrah of Dune

No, the slang for "fecies"(i.e "crap", "shit" etc). Spelled with an Aleph and not a Hei in the end. I presume it's of Arabic origin.

So why you didn't spell it with an aleph at the end then? I should read your mind from this distance? Oy vey!

(And feces is thus.)
