Even better, I used it after climbing that ultra high mountain.

This was before Avatar, so no I think it only had 4 legs.

Whatta man!

Can we strike 'epic' from the English language please?

That's funny. I'll bet he never thought that anyone would actually look up a picture of his EPIC hike. There are roads in Minneapolis with Class 3 potholes that look worse than that hill. Add a storm and traffic to the mix and that's danger.

I would like to add, just this once, that there is nothing in that image for scale, so we don't really know how big the terrain is. I'm sure we all remember the thing with the Tusken Raider on Mars, only to it end up being a tiny rock formation.

Class 3 Scrambling or un-roped climbing. You must use your hands most of the time to hold the terrain or find your route. This may be caused by a combination of steepness and extreme terrain (large rocks or steep snow). Some Class 3 routes are better done with rope.
If you use your hands, how do you hold the dictahike?
Scrambling
I can see that.

The Bierstadt-Sawtooth ridge requires some Class 3 scrambling, but the ledges across the west face of The Sawtooth are much easier than they appear from the trailhead.
Mountains are epic. Bulls are epic.

Regularly banned. But not for this post but for one where I suggested another member to not read the Atrocities and stick to the originals.

Old thread, and diverged from the original discussion...

But I just can't resist pointing out that a person using the words of positive critics as proof of the invalidity of the words of negative critics sounds like something Frank Herbert would have used to characterize a character as...shall we say...not very adept?

For clarity I should point out that I was harping on the original post. I realized I had to come back and point that out because the original poster is obviously a KJA fan...yet the insult was one with subtlety which required comprehension and thought on the part of the insulted in order to know they were being insulted. I daresay assuming that those two things would go together was a noob mistake, it won't happen again.

Not only was he a fan, he directly profits from the hack's work. He's a shill and betrayed his grandfather's legacy for a few bucks.

please don't say "mysterious pre-scattering". Now we can expect another Interquel trilogy...

Winds of Dune.
Throne of Dune.
...
Scat of Dune.
