I'm sure sometimes the "victim" lurks and laughs at the hornet's nest.

I meant an internet safe distance, I wouldn't dare do the "you wouldn't say that to my face" thing, that's just ridiculous.

These people are everywhere. It's not even about Dune, really. When you come across stupidity, just speak your mind. I can be very stupid, but I'll fess up to my stupidity, if called on it. Just speak your mind. Some people will see the light, others will go on liking McDune.

I don't like every writer's style; for instance, I have never been able to get through Ursula LeGuin, China Mieville, or Iain Banks, all of whom are critical darlings. —KJA
I...had written a bunch of Star Wars and X-Files books...that proved not just that I'm a hack, but that I could write in somebody else's universe... —KJA

Yes he did. A few days ago I noticed he had signed up. He must have been very disappointed because he didn't re-ask(?) the questions he asked here. I don't blame him because the board is a desolated place.

They're mostly on Facebook, where they're insulated from the fun of a real raid. Facebook is killing the internet.

Yeah, for some reason they won't let me comment at "Official Dune" on FB.
