Dayton book signing...

Still here at Book & Co...

KJA is signing books and a few people are taking pix wit the 501ers. It's. Not even 8:00 PM yet.

Odd.

As I Tweeted a little while ago, the worst thing a mujahidin can do is start to see the enemy as human.

Will post more later.

Gonna take some pix now.

I missed his Minneapolis visit. I'd be surprised if there were more than 3-4 people there.

I saw that you were on then. I tried to reply to one of your comments but will have to check again to see if it went through. (It was my first time using the Twitter app on my iPad, and either I was messing up or it was glitchin'.)

Well, PrinceJvsting (nah, he's NOT a fanboy  ) evidently was. And posted a nice new portrait shot to prove it.

There were probably around 50 people there last night, definitely less than 60. (They passed out numbered slips of paper for the signing line. Mine was #118 and they evidently passed out only about seven more after me because the last call went something like "Numbers 120 through 125... and anybody else....")

Sorry for not going for blood. The thing came across as not being very much about Dune, not really, and somehow I just didn't want to be that guy that kids asked their parents about later... "Mommy, why was that man so angry at the Star Wars book guy?"

There is a time and a place for everything. And even then, some water is not worth taking...

Now that would have been funny !

right on ! that kind of action has to be perfect to convey the message unabridged. As I/we said many times, Literature will judge, and people will forget the hack and remember Frank (if they don't they can go mingle their water somewhere else)

As much as I want to see that patented SC bile, I know what you mean. It's hard to lay into them in public when they are on good behavior. I've been to 2 of these things before, and while I did ask pointed questions, they are on the lookout for us, and I'm sure they have a barb or two ready, and will have sympathetic audiences.

I should go to one of these things.
I think I might be able to rile up KJA a bit.
Is he in the NYC/Boston area any time soon?

Not for this book tour. Dayton was as far north AND east as he gets this time. He's In Dallas today and Houston tomorrow, and then he's done. Ya missed him this time, sport. ;)

(I haven't been following his Tweets very closely. I saw that he had mouth-cummed about "the largest crowd yet" after Atlanta... but I wasn't sure if he meant numbers-wise or whether the Two Piggies showed up and he meant mass-wise. Not saying much, though, considering there were probably less than 30 people there Saturday afton for the Cincinnati signing.)

Sorry, I had better things to do than get arrested, again.

that's what I said when them city cops came at us @ the Willie Nelson last November ...

actually, it was more like "Aw shit, here we go again ...", but you know what I mean ...
I didn't set out that night intending on being arrested .. mostly ...

BTW, Court Date on That Charge is two weeks from today,
in a JP's Court who don't care for me too much ... there's a strong chance
I'll end up sitting out the fine on the original change in the county, plus
whatever I get for Contempt ... cause Lawd Knows I gots me some Contempt for the Court ...

that sounds weird ^^

But yes good luck SR, well maybe luck is not a factor here if the Court has a thing for you...

You should try to bribe them with donkeys, it would go down well and they'd make good lawyers.
