Duncan Donuts

Post by Shaitan »

I just wanted to say that, it rolls off the tongue amusingly.

Dunc'n Donuts.

I suppose this would be a good place to post discussion of how the culmination of Duncan's evolution through serial ghola lives is utterly ruined by the McDune-iacs.

I'll start: the pathetically aped quotations at the start of each chapter in Hunters/Sandworms....where Duncan is quoted as if he wrote some book telling the story of his many ghola lives....

WTF, does everyone in McDune suddenly write a book? Y'know, it's a sign of a bad writer when one can't separate themselves from their stories. *cough KJA cough*

In case anyone isn't getting my classic goofiness this evening:

Duncan Donuts is a reference to the mental circles we chase ourselves in trying to understand KJA's portrayal of Duncan in the Dune7 era.

It's goofy, but it has an amusing ring to it.

I wonder if they'd sell spice beer battered, spice-powdered, creme-o-spice filled donuts.

It's medicinal, man, I swear....

Rumor has it that The Duncan spent most weekday afternoons down at the shop, back in the kitchen, "filling" those special creamers.

Enjoy! ;)

It's funny how you fans can make fast food names with Dune on them.

Yeah, we've been over this before kid. McDune was a specific analogy used for debating people... this donuts thing is just a funny joke.

Harry doesn't seem to add anything of substance does he? Not even decent flame bait at the very least.

Totally oblivious.

"Dune has four parts."
"I don't like Jororky."
"What if Neo ate melgenge?"

It's extremely frustrating.

He posted this on Monday over on Amazon:
Dune should be 4 movies and not one cause it's impossible to do that since it's a long book. And Lynch made that mistake.
Broken record.

Ah, so then that makes the whole "four parts" thing from a few weeks ago even less than a rumor, doesn't it? It was just this idiot's wishful thinking?

Epic fucking fail.
