Once more about the notes

Post by MrFlibble »

Guys, is there anywhere any detailed collection of the different versions of the "official" stories about the notes? Preferably with sources (links, saved pages or at least quotes)?

Look HERE, and check the threads in its parent forum, HERE. Check with Sandrider and DPope if you want to translate anything for your forum. They did all the work getting that stuff put together. And I'd appreciate some links if you do wind up doing that. T(A)U is my site.

Thanks a lot! :) You guys really did a thorough job! Keep up the good work! :D

I also remember that not long ago someone posted some graphs or maybe statistics showing how the sales and/or ratings of the McDune books declined with each new book published. Do you keep track of that kind of things too?

I took a look at the NY Times bestsellers data here:

... but it technically doesn't include actual sales figures. Sadly, we must rely on press releases for that sort of thing, and even those are pretty rare. Most publishing houses, it seems, prefer to talk generally rather than specifically about their numbers.
