Names & Mocking Byron: KJA wants to play, too?!

Post by SandChigger »

Kevin's promise over on KJASF to work the names of spayshul troopers who out-poop themselves for the team into upcoming novels has had me looking more closely at character names this time. Think I'm reading too much into this one?
The tall, gaunt man next to her had rich brown skin, red beads in his hair, and dull rounded gems set into the flesh of his cheeks. He spoke in a deep baritone voice. "We must talk to you of Landsraad matters. I am Hyron Baha from Midea. Regent Alia has ignored our many messages, but we hope that you can make our words heard."
Hyron Baha? Switch the first letters: Byron Haha!

"Byron! I'm still writing Dune! You're still babysitting my dumb fans on your BBS and writing movie reviews nobody reads! Haha! Haha! Haha!"

I'll post others as they turn up.

I actually find this revelation comfortably affirming :)

I wondered, too, if maybe the 'M' in Midea isn't for Merritt.

And if Baha as is isn't supposed to remind you of California, where Byron lives. :?

I'm pretty sure you don't want to be in a minefield with Shu... one of you bites and the other likes sodomy...

Hmm... I don't think you'd ever find TheKeith in a mindfield, unless it was one created by Lord Xenu.
