I've been told this board is operating from the position that we're all assholes.
I challenge you to find me a board full of people who aren't assholes. It can't be done.

Elbow holes, being a hole on a part of the body different than the ass. A way of saying we are just short of assholes?

No, he just doesn't know his ass from his elbow.

No, he just doesn't know his ass from his elbow.
Which is ironic because he probably has to go around his elbow to get to his asshole.

Only the books written by Frank Herbert are canon.

I can do that, but only when I'm in a hole in the ground.

I just watched this. Did you hear Brian saying he first wanted to publish that Dune-concordance he wrote, but Kevin said don't publish it, the fans will use it against us!!! Then he says: "We may have a few errors here and there"

Well, he does have to support all that water fat.

And besides, if he doesn't drink a lot of fluids, what's he going to use to piss all over Frank Herbert's legacy?

This is the same video I was talking about in my post over in the inconsistencies thread... This video took me from "unhappy-but-I'll-deal-fan" to "talifan."

That whole bit about them originally pitching House Atreides for a movie pissed me off, too. I'm not entirely sure that I'm justified in my anger at it, but to me it just feels wrong to write books in someone else's world and then try to work out a multi-million dollar movie based on something you wrote, but the franchise name would support the budget.

I dunno. Dammit I hate KJA. He's like a bully who shouldered his way into the Dune legacy and is rabidly jerking off on everything hoping his own shit will grow.

Also, and maybe it's just me... but why the hell would you brag about publishing 7 to 14 books in a year? All that tells me is that he doesn't spend time on a damned thing - he just churns the shit out.

This is the one where they're introduced by that little wiener who practically creams himself being so near to his hero KJA, right?

I'm not recognizing some of this stuff you guys are posting about it, so I'm thinking maybe I just downloaded it and never listened to the whole thing. (I think I used some screenshots from it for one of the Life of Brian comics, though.... :? )

A desperate, pathological need for validation, acceptance, and recognition.

I watched it over and counted how many times Kevin took sips of tea; eight. Possibly nine because at the end I could see his hand reach for the mug. Brian drinks his energy drink three times.

Google should not have invited them to speak. Google is a very respectable and successful company to say the least.

I heard from my father how much fun it is at Google headquarters. There are so many great facilities. Three or more pools and world class food at the cafeteria and an excellent art gallery.

My father tells me that when he was invited to Google headquarters, they have shops where they give away for free all kinds of computer related goodies.

Brian kinda looks like Willy Wonka (Gene Wilder's portrayal).

And KJA does not sound like he's a "best-selling award-winning author".

Just as a comparison, did anyone watch the Neil Gaiman interview? He shows more personality in the first 2 minutes than those Twins have demonstrated in any of the interviews I have watched.

I think they're robots.

Not intelligent robots, more like the animatrons at Disneyworld.

I'd rather sit through the Hall of Presidents again then read any more by those fuckers.

As always it feels KJA read the back cover of a Reader's Digest and not the actual books

not that he ever gave the impression he knew what a book was

Fuzzy
"i went for 11 years taking abuse from various people saying why don't you continue the series"
KJA pretends he's whipping Bobo
"various SF writers, some of them quite well known, came to me and said could I write it or could we collaborate, and I just didn't feel I want(sic) to continue the series [...]until I met Kevin. He's a dynamo of energy" bla bla bla

well done you moron!

edit: fuckin'ell what a bullshitter that jacket is, how can you lie and cheat that much and not want to slash your own wrists to put an end to the unbearable duality and paradox of not being what you pretend to be...
ok time to stop I get really annoyed by hypocrisy when I'm tired...
