Yehyehyehyehyeh! WHIP me! :P

(But whatever you do with me, if you have any pet elephants, like KJA, I'd keep Pestie away from them! )

I like "Here Be Monsters" better... I think for a first foray into making a CD KJA did quite well. You can defiantly hear the Rush / Kansas roots in the music. Of course, I am biased, since I like Rush and Kansas.

RBP
Of course you do, because you're an idiot.

Did he actually type "you can defiantly hear..."?

Shit. We're dealing with fucking amateurs at every level, from the empty-headed top (self-absorbed hack, neurotic name-bearer afraid of ... EVERYTHING, a family sponging off their dead forebear) down to the smelly bottom (ass-feeders like this moron).

Is redbug a fanboy or something? You seem to hate his guts as much as you hate arnoloco.

Dear, how could you have missed that....yeah....it would seem that he is a strong fan boy and I think you are correct in the assumption that there is no love lost between him and Chig....or between him and Duke... or between him and.......

Why, I don't hate stupid people, Nebby! I just don't understand you.

Lundse, TheKJA has just Twatted something about having all his last minute agenda stuff finished and being ready to set off on his 15-city tour. I guess answering your questions wasn't on his list.

If Pestie had any answers of his own, he'd have posted them by now.

He'd been gone for awhile, so I'm sure he can handle it by now after so much practice.

I agree, he showed up here guns blazing, hurling childish insults with almost the same vehemence as Chig or Teg. Then as soon as some of us gave him opportunities to defend this "author" we're all so wrong about he bails.

Boring.

Here is a song written by Kevin for the rock CD. Earlier I showed you a sample of some music in the CD which is ok. But here is a song with the lyrics:

Tolerable or not? You be the judge.

A lot of music is better without lyrics.

Intolerable. It reminds me of a ultra-lame version of Nightwish, and I'm not even that into Nightwish.

Now, this video I found much more entertaining. But it had much more to do with the overwhelming amount of ass-kissery than the music itself. The best part: "Epic Fantasy Novel... Epic Rock CD"

I don't even understand the purpose of releasing an album parallel to a book. Am I supposed to read Terra Incognita while listening to crappy folk-metal? :puke:

Although this does remind me I still have chapter 2 to write...

By the way, is this video and these kinds of comments the kind of thing that earn KJA Special People fantastic prizes?

I don't get it, either — and neither does the buying public, given the abysmal sales of both products.

From the original announcement, the whole thing just screamed "vanity project" to me. Kevin (and Becky) can now put "lyricist" on their résumés, it gave TheKJA something to fill up his blogs and Twatter posts with, and a bunch of low-rent, out-of-work musicians got a payday. And they were probably able to shift enough units to the KJA fanbois, completists, and other fantasy-reading basement-dwellers to justify the expense.
