I apologize if this has already been posted elsewhere in other threads, but I just got a pretty good laugh walking into Barnes & Noble and seeing PoD in the five dollar section.

LOL. Yeah, it has dropped in price quite dramatically. Kind of like SoD, which now is selling for $6.99 on Amazon.com (from an original price of $27.95) in hardback!
JoD, meanwhile, is already marked down from $27.95 to $18.45 on Amazon.com.

And back on topic, This is a positive sign. The publishers are surely recognizing now that these new books simply don't have the stuff to be legends like the originals.
