The Rabbi is in despair at their situation, hiding in a no-room under the farm's ash pit, from the Honored Matres. Rebbeca decides that her duty will be to keep away the boredom. Her Lampadas hoard of Other Memories will help her. They plan to ration their food, they may be able to last a standard year if the machinery keeps working. A storm is brewing above and will make cement of the ash pit at the no-rooms entrance. This will make it more difficult for searchers to find them yet more difficult for them to get out. They can use their hands if they have to.
