I am beginning to hate water. The sandtrout skin which impels my metamorphosis
has learned the sensitivities of the worm. Moneo and many of my guards know my

The Royal Entourage comes down the final stretch to Onn as Fish Speakers line the road chanting, "Siaynoq!" raising the hairs on the back of Idaho's neck. Leto had told Moneo that Siaynoq was the one Fish Speaker ritual, the adoration of Him in His presence. Duncan asks the Fish Speaker guard about it but they tell him it is not for men, allthough sometimes Leto shares is with a Duncan. Leto says he will learn about it soon enough. Idaho recalls studying a map of the city, it was built primarily for viewing the God Emperor but the embassies, Fish Speaker schools, museums and libraries are there. The chanting stopps as they decend down to the chambers below the city. The way is still lined with Fish Speakers, Duncan notices they are still silently mouthing the word, "Siaynoq".
