Ok Sandy, what, where, why, how, who? :)

what (figuratively): possibly an attempt at some kind of "graphic novel";
what (literally): 3D rendered images using DAZ Studio; scenes originally built for use with Torus Cardigan ...
where: in space ...
why: after I got to messing around with it, I produced some images that (I thought) were really pretty good;
probably too good to waste on mocking Spanky ...
how: download free version of DAZ Studio; surf internet collecting 3D models from the thousands and thousands available
for DAZ & the Poser 3D renderers; spend about two years fucking with it; indulge in mind-altering drugs of your choice &
start producing "content" ...
who: so far, the "commander" & the "AI" ...

you also forgot "when" ....
when: distant past/distant future/present/alternate present/alternate past and/or future/all of the above/take your pick

Caught in factual/grammatical error you have been. :P

Nice work, needs more splosions though.

this'un might be seriously bereft in the Sploshunz & Lazer-tag Ultra-fightin' ...
taken me this long to get Dude outta bed & on his way to work ...
(& I do have some over-all idea of where this is going .... gonna take quite awhile to get there, tho ..)
(in the meantime, however, I'd welcome speculation & observations - also spelchek ...)
(and I'll be playing with the size & re-posting some images &etc., merging & combining ...)

What's being nullified?

take a guess

(if it's not clear, I haven't done a very good job, eh?)

 Well apears to be gravity - doesn't it seem a bit odd to create a grav-null feild inside a ship that is probably using a grav-yes feild to create gravity in the first place, when you could just turn off the grav feild?

I'm just messing with you though. :D

One thing: at one point you write "Sir, your duty shift begins in one minute." All the way through you've been relying on repetition with the word commander. Is the change deliberate? Kinda takes away from the 'automated' effect.

(Sorry if I'm being pedantic. :) )

used "sir" one time in the first set ... "I trust you are feeling well, sir ..."
both times might've been due to space limitations for captions ...

also, using the Dunefish OH font, there are no numbers or question marks ... so I don't think the AI can ask a question ...

I think this one is going to have to be aborted -
in a pathetic attempt to "organize" my "workspaces" into separate Windows "User Profiles",
I totally effed-up all the links between the models & their textures by shuffling the content directories ...

so I can still load-up all the created "scenes", but everything is white ....

the "cargo" was a huge deck of row upon row of "cold-sleep" chambers, or whatever you want to call them,
the "commander" was the only human occupant of the big-ass ship ... the AI's nameplate reads "Ar-thor Cee"
(possibly to be changed to "R_thor_C" or somesuch)(and yes, that's a HAL9000 interface) ... the name of the
ship would eventually be revealed as the "Arthur C. Clarke", and all the sleep chambers contain clones of the
same guy ... it was a billion-year exploration trip to another galaxy ....

anyway, now I've been playing with the "cartoon shading" effects, and my natural satirical bent and lack of
ability in serious story-telling is leading me back to Torus McCardigan of the Imperial Argosy .... maybe sans
Spanky, too ... I think that even if I tried real hard not to, I'd still produce better content than Keith ....
