Nebby, I'm ... speechless.

You have somehow managed to exactly express in pictorial form the feeling one has when reading your writing! Amazing, simply amazing!

My God, man, you've become a multimedia "artist". BRAVO! :D

Just one minor point, though: Kevin doesn't have even that much hair on top of his head.

(I'm sure as the evening progresses I'll come up with some more demeaning comments for you. Until then!)
I have heard of only one mistake that doesn’t have an explanation for a careful reader...with an open mind. (And, no, I’m not going to tell you what it is!) —KJA

I don't like every writer's style; for instance, I have never been able to get through Ursula LeGuin, China Mieville, or Iain Banks, all of whom are critical darlings. —KJA

I...had written a bunch of Star Wars and X-Files books...that proved not just that I'm a hack, but that I could write in somebody else's universe... —KJA

It should have worked from what I can see, but maybe this board doesn't support bmp images. Why not use something more standard like a jpg or gif?

If you follow the link http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_yga1hjprgzA/Sj9TtjQ0HPI/AAAAAAAAAAM/27qMyZUhc2Y/s1600-h/KJA.bmp you should see it fine, but it's not worth the time.

The board supports .bmp. Its probably because of the source. It likely disallows hotlinking like that.

Nebbish? Never mind.

Wait a minute, you mean this isn't Nebby's work?

That would be an explanation but not a justification.

From my library computer it did not show. But thanks for posting the link. Now everyone can at least see it.

Yes that is my drawing. I just wanted to show exactly what everyone already knows through a picture since nobody has done that yet.

My day job? What do you mean freak?

Actually, Hypatia made a little animated gif of him mountain climbing years ago.

(Freak meant don't quit your job at the library hoping to make a living as an artist. As my sainted grandmama would have said, you can't draw for shit. But if you were drawing for shit, you wouldn't even get a smell. :P )

Perhaps I can make a few improvements in the picture by adding birds in the sky and give kevin an ear.

Too many people have given Kevin an ear over the years. He should have remained a waiter raconteur in that restaurant he got his first job at.
